When and Where
The choir meets every Wednesday (term time only) at 8pm at the Jam Circus Pub (formerly known as the Job Centre) on Deptford High Street.
We welcome singers from all parts of South East London, from Bromley, Greenwich, Lewisham, New Cross and even further afield.
Singing in the Choir
Deptford Community choir is about singing and having a good time. Some people join the choir to connect with new people, others may find choir evenings a spiritual place where they connect and encounter bigger topics such as life, death, hope, faith and love. Some people are just here to sing!
Whatever your reason for coming, you are welcome.
Singers
We welcome people from every community, regardless of sexual orientation, religion, cultural background, age, physical ability… the list goes on – anyone can join!
Our members are artists, students, lawyers, social workers, mums, and people from every background imaginable!
We want to represent the diversity of Deptford, New Cross, Lewisham, Greenwich – the whole of South East London – without restricting members to being residents (you don’t need to live in Deptford to join!)
