Soul Community

Soul Community is a network of projects to explore new ways of being community through partnership and collaboration. The aim is to create community-orientated initiatives to empower people to play an active role in the projects and shape the projects’ direction and outcomes.
Churches were once at the physical and spiritual centre of communities, but changing times and shifting attitudes have created a completely new community landscape.
Soul Community falls under the Salvation Army’s ‘Fresh Expressions’ movement which is part of creating a new place for the church, putting people back at the centre of their communities.
